Sales, Liability & Rehoming Policy
Horse Sales – “As Is”
All horses are sold AS IS, with no warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, general health and wellness, soundness, fitness for a particular purpose, temperament, performance ability, or future suitability. Once a horse leaves PB&J Barrel Horse Foundation, all responsibility transfers to the buyer.
Pre-Purchase Veterinary Exams
Buyers are strongly encouraged to obtain a pre-purchase veterinary examination (vet check) prior to purchase. The decision to waive a vet check is solely the buyer’s responsibility and does not alter the terms of sale.
Return, Rehoming & Pickup Policy
PB&J Barrel Horse Foundation does not offer refunds or exchanges. However, if a buyer determines that a horse is not a suitable match, PB&J may, at its sole discretion, assist with recovery of the horse under the following terms:
• Standard Horse Pickup Fee: $1,500.00
• Expedited Pickup Fee (less than 24 hours’ notice): $2,500.00
Pickup fees reflect labor, scheduling disruption, transportation, equipment, liability, and operational costs. These fees are non-negotiable and must be paid in full prior to pickup.
PB&J Barrel Horse Foundation is not a rescue organization and does not provide complimentary retrieval, boarding, or rehoming services.

For Sale
'True' is a 5yo palomino AQHA/Appendix mare around 15.2 hands by Strait Dallas Fuel located in North Texas.
Big mare, big personality. She is a lot of fun to play with at liberty in the round pen and with obstacles. She is extremely smart and picks things up very quickly. She has a feather light feel but is stout and powerful mover. Would excel at being a “one person horse”.
She was purchased as a yearling, lightly started at a 2 year old. When she began learning more athletic maneuvers into her 3 year old year we found some restrictions in her back. This warranted extra therapies and eventually kissing spine surgery. While recovered from the surgery in 24’ she still shows some discomfort at anything above a trot.
She will require a lot of therapy to keep her comfortable with the potential to be ridden. She would be an awesome broodmare, would cross great with Firewater Flit or something similar. She also is a powerhouse and can stay on task well so she may excel pulling a cart/wagon. She is a lot of fun to do Natural Horsemanship type tasks on the ground and is very familiar with that style of training.
She is priced at $4,800.

I’m really looking forward to find her a good fit because I know she has a bright future in the right hands.
