What is the PB&J
Barrel Horse Foundation?
There are two types of foundations and we are both:

a body or ground upon which something is built up

funds given for the permanent support of an institution

We train horses, and educate people to barrel race. We believe it should be as basic & substantial as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
A horse needs to learn like a horse, and a human needs to learn like a human - we skillfully simplify the process. Bright beginnings illuminate the future.

Then, fruit of our barrel racing program supports specific groups of people in dire straits. Giving them resources to live and truth to be free.

They say you have everything when you have each other; and that we do!
Our family didn't grow up with a background in the western culture or have a boot in the stirrup of the rodeo world, but we followed where God led us and worked hard to pursue the credentials needed to provide quality equine services.
One of us has a degree in Construction, the other , Natural Horsemanship; from university's in Colorado, where we met. We are a great balance of dedication and vision and started our business in 2010 and got married in 2011. ​

We've stayed true to our initial focus, which is: to teach humans and horses how to build on a great foundation for achieving excellence. We're nuts about barrel horses and teaching is our jam!
